 I am a native born lifetime resident of New Mexico with family roots in the northern part of the state. My life has been connected to water in many ways, other than its essential needs for sustaining life and the body.      The families of both my parents were agrarian and dependent on water and its distribution through the use of traditional acequias and farm irrigation methods.  I have always enjoyed watering the garden, playing in water and related recreational activities and exercise. And outdoor activities such as hiking and camping

While obtaining my bachelors degree I studied art and design, which included watercolor painting and special studies in water color.  In continuing my education and hobby in water color painting I was introduced to other water based medias. My paintings include many traditional and modern subjects of New Mexico.  Like the skies of New Mexico my paintings are full of light and color.
